We have never met a child who doesn’t love exploring, climbing and generally getting messy, so our lovely garden is very popular. We’re really proud of our flexible outdoor space, and our children all spend a lot of time making the most of it, whatever the weather!
We encourage parents to bring wet weather clothes all year, and sun hats in the warmer months. We never miss a chance to get outside and experience the great British weather, the changes in seasons and how this affects the natural world.
We have three separate gardens, which can be opened up to form a free-flowing space that encourages children to explore and experiment. This leads to valuable learning opportunities, and the chance to interact with older and younger children, and siblings.
The Early Years Foundation Stage promotes the outdoor environment as having a positive impact on the children’s sense of wellbeing, and supports all areas of development.
We encourage our children’s natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about the world, as we develop learning environments that support their individual needs and interests.
Our spacious gardens give our children the freedom to roam around, run off some energy, get some fresh air and even grow vegetables, in a safe, fun environment.
